Hello Kairasp,

Setting up a flight from point A to point B in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is quite straightforward. Let me guide you through the process step by step.

  1. Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020: Start the simulator and wait for the main menu to appear.
  2. Access the World Map: From the main menu, click on the World Map icon, which is usually located in the center of the screen.
  3. Choose your departure and arrival airports: You will see a map of the world with search boxes at the top-left corner. In the Departure search box, type in the ICAO code (International Civil Aviation Organization code) or the name of the airport you want to start from. As you type, a list of matching airports will appear; select the correct one to set it as your departure point. Repeat the process for the Arrival search box, entering the destination airport's ICAO code or name.
  4. Select a runway and parking spot: After selecting both airports, click on the departure airport icon on the map. A window will pop up, allowing you to choose a specific runway or parking spot to start from. Choose the desired option by clicking on it, then click Set as Departure.
  5. Review your flight plan: Once both airports are set, the simulator will automatically generate a flight plan with waypoints and altitude information. You can review and edit the flight plan by clicking on the waypoints, adding new ones, or adjusting altitudes as needed.
  6. Choose your aircraft and weather settings: Before starting the flight, make sure to select your preferred aircraft and configure weather conditions by clicking on the respective icons on the top bar of the World Map screen.
  7. Start the flight: Finally, click the Fly button in the bottom-right corner of the screen to begin your journey.

You're all set! Now you can enjoy flying between the airports you've chosen. If you need any more assistance or have questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Happy flying!
