Multiply by 9, divide by 5, then add 32.

-23 C would be -9.4 F. Yeah, that's a little nippy.

Yep. I am exploring northern Alaska in the Cessna Citation and it is -27 in Willey-Post Rogers. (Real-world weather) Yes

When I lived in Argentina (image that during the winter. Argentina is located on the south of South America) it was freezing during the winter. It snows really bad when it's really cold. 3 degrees Celsius is already crazy, too cold, and snows. Imagine -27 degrees Celsius. That happens in Argentina. Too cold in the south that you can't even go outside for two minutes.

Slightly easier? Double it, take off 10% and add 32.

Mypilot,

Easy way to check using standard number known by all in both temp scales. 100 in F and the equal measurement in C which is 212. Operation is: 212 Celcius minus 32 equals 180. 180 divided by 1.8 equals 100F. Reverse operation would be 100F times 1.8 equals 180F plus 32 equals 212 degrees C.
