hello all,
in the sim, Im getting choppy frame rates, and the display settings are not to high...if i wanted to be able to raise the display settings, and get better frame rates, what video card do you reccomend. I currently have NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000..Im gonna have to come up with he money myself, cause I dont wna annoy my parents...i just think it would be better for them if i get it myself, so please, nothing "top of the line"...just reasonable...thx!

I would go ATI Radeon Pro 128, the price is slowly coming down and the card is a wonderful buy before you go to anything in the 256mb range.
First OfficerBefore you spend, see about getting some new DRIVERS for your current card.... I got some new OMEGA drivers for free and they transformed the graphics in the Sim....
A friend sent them to me by email so I'm not sure where to get them from, but I know they were completely free !
If you are going to get a new card, make it worthwhile .... If you don't soend much money, you won't get much improvement and you'll be disappointed.
The ATI Radeon X800 is fab but quite expensive.
Chief CaptainI agree with Pro-Sim about the X800XT, but it runs HOT! Especially in my PC, i just bought a big personal fan, and i've got it sitting right next to my open case!
