I am trying to fly online and would like to lose the black background that surrounds the game window pre-flight. I want to be able to see the desktop as a background to the game window so that I can access the start button, and get at Squawkbox etc.

Hit "alt and enter" at the same time. This will run the sim in a window instead of full screen mode. Hit "alt enter" again to go back to full screen.
