help~! fs crashes every time it opens

My crystal ball is broken, so you'll have to provide a bit more information.

What are your computer specs? What, if any, error message is generated?

n vidia geforce 6 6800GT
pentium 4 3.4 HT extreme edition
1024mb ram
5 hard drive total about 170GB

the full error report is too long and probably no body would understand.

basiclly it is like other errors, the program has encountered an error and must now shut down(not computer) bla...bla..bla.......

i use the no cd patch

the game version is 9.1

Can I assume that at one time FS worked? Or, has it not worked since installation. If it did, at one time, work, what did you install, or what changes did you make before it began crashing?

it never did work

In that case, completely uninstall it. Then reinstall and see if it works with its default settings...before using the no-cd crack. If that works, you can try the no-cd crack, but save the original fs.exe in case that turns out to be the problem.

If that does not solve things, then post the full error output and I will try to figure out what the problem is.

I will be out for a couple of hours, so I may not get back to you immediately.

do u no the real name of fs cd 4??? cuz i have de downloaded version and have to run on no cd crack

Go to the control panel/add or remove programs and delete it from there.
If Windows won't let you do it, reboot and then it will.
Reinstall, make sure you have DirectX 9.0c (download it and install it in case it has become corrupted) and a folder in "My Documents" marked "Flight Simulator Files". You need them to start the sim.

Let us know how you do.

i re installed, and i have a flight simulator file and i also have direct x 9.0c

but still crashes

Is this a legal copy or did you download it from the net.
If you downloaded it, any small part that's missing could cause it.

Clean out the video drivers and download and install the latest ones for your card.

I am beginning to think that the FS you have is not a legal version, but one you downloaded from the web. If that is the case, I'll refrain from further participation in this topic.
