Lol, don't worry, I never understood those posts either.

1. Basically, I just download the file and then move it to the FS9 folder, in Microsoft Games.

2. Open the folder, until you get all of the "stuff" i.e. textures, sounds etc. Put the folder that contains this info in the FS9 Aircraft folder. This means that the aircraft will appear in the FS9 game when you next run it.

3. Now, you need to move things like gauges, textures, sounds from the downloaded file, to the FS9 folders. For example, if there is a load of textures of the aircraft in the downloaded file, copy them from the folder, to the root folder which is in the same place as the Aircraft folder is.

4. Place all of the other files, i.e. sounds in the FS9 folders and then it should work.

Hope some of this makes sense 😕

Installation directions.

They may be listed under the manufactures name in the aircraft main menu.
Put "ANY" in the top window, then look in the center window for the aircraft.
Try not to load more then one at a time, if you have problems it's easier to tell which it is if only one has been added.
If they are textures, or one that is from 2002 or still in a "wrapper" it may not show up.

Easy one to load.
Scroll down this list and choose the Aeronca Chief. it loads just to the main aircraft folder. See if you can find it (under A) in the menu and fly it, it's one of my favorites.
