Umm... Nope
I think your PC would really struggle with fs2004 even though MS give the min requirements of 450 mhz and a 8 mg gfx card ROFL

To run fs9 with any sort of detail and smoothness you would need min 1.6mhz procesor 128 gfx card and 512mb of ram(and then you would have most of the eye candy turned down)

Sorry Crying or Very sad

Why do Microshaft give such low specs for such a graphic and procesor intensive piece of software

what about fs2002? would it run good for it?

😳 I have looked at the fs2002 pack and it lists no minimum specs 😳 and MS no longer support it Mad
But TTT has found this ➡

Multimedia PC with Pentium II 300 MHz equivalent or higher processor with 8MB 3D video hardware acceleration or better.
Memory 64 MB
Approximately 650 MB of available hard disk space; additional 100MB for swap file.
Quad Speed or better CD-ROM drive
Super VGA monitor supporting 800x600 resolutions in 16 bit color.
DirectX 8.0a API or later
DirectX8.0a or later compatible 8 MB video card
DirectX8.0a API compatible sound card with speakers or headphones
Microsoft Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 2000, or Windows XP operating system (Does not support Windows NT).
Joystick or flight yoke.
Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device.
Sound card with speakers or headphones required for audio.

So looking at that fs2002 would run better than fs9 on your PC (again you may have to turn down the eyecandy, just a little)

FS 2002 will run very nicely on that machine.

And as far as the actual flying goes there isn't that much difference between the two..

OK, I see what you mean.

I meant that the actual airplanes and navigation systems that are available in both versions are quite similar.
But, FS 2002 needs much less in the way of computer resources than FS 2004 does, mainly due to the much more complex graphic imagery in FS 2004.

So don't worry, it will work fine on your computer.

It doesn't have the fancy cloud and weather effects of the newer version, and the GPS system is different, but works just fine.
