Flight Sim Running When Minimised???

damon80 Guest

Anyone know if it's possible to keep FS running when it's minimised?

I've got it running in a window on my desktop, but everytime I click off the window, it pauses the simulation.

I've got the autopilot running, and i'm doing a trans-atlantic flight (manchester to orlando sanford, in the 777), but I have some work to be doing in Word that I want to do why the flight is running, but it's not letting me! Evil or Very Mad

Anyone any ideas??? 🙄

Sorry, when you minimize FS , it will automatically switch to 'Pause' mode. If you maximise it again, you will have to press "P" again to exit the 'Pause' mode. 😉

If you go into the settings and I think it's display but not sure as I'm at work and click on pause on taskbar I think or something like that. Others will come and give abit more detailed information.

Yes there is an option, you un-tick "pause when multitasking" (or something like that). Then FS keeps running while minimised.

There are some drawbacks to that. AI crash into you while you aren't looking. Your antivirus program pops a window up stealing the focus while you are trying to land. Your fuel level drops to zero while you aren't looking.

Minimize not. Fly or fly not. (with apologies to Yoda)
