Landing Speed for A319

140 knots isn't too fast but it can be done a bit slower, obviously depending on weight. Try landing a bit slower i.e. 125-130 KIAS for a smoother landing. Make sure you add a bit of thrust when you flare so you don't hit the runway hard if you feel you are dropping. I'm currently flying the A321 at the moment and am landing at around 130 Knots, and the A321 is quite a bit bigger, so it can be done 😉
