A340-600 Central Landing Optional

I'm a taildragger, wait for some of the members that like to fly the big boys.

Yes i do, but with the central landing gear optional....like you can bring it up if the overall weight of the aircraft doesn't require it.....is that possible?

Ok...i know that the central landing gear is optional depending on the aircrafts weight, but i could not find a picture to prove it....but i did come up with this.... http://www.airliners.net/photo/444204/ Sorry its so long....ok...to the far right you will see the landing gear lever (down) and under that you will see a handle and next to it "LDG GEAR GRVTY EXTN" that is the lever to raise or lower the central landing gear....is that possible in fs???

Ok, What your saying is that there is a third landing gear (central) and do we know of any aircraft for the sim that has that.

now..is the central landing gear retractable?? if it isn't then i guess i am out of luck...

I didn't bother to see, I just took the shots and came back to show you. I never landed just "Esc" out.

It must be, you tell me after you fly it.

apparently it isn't retractable...because i can't find a panel that has the landing gear gravity extension switch available....so...there is no a340 with the central gear retractable....it was worth a try....

I am trying to install the panel. I can't see the instruments. Any suggestions on where to install the panel and gauges?

I don't understand, it's an "exe", it's self installing. Why are you having the problem, you shouldn't have to do anything once it installs itself.

I know its self installing but for some reason I am not getting the gauges showing up. Its just a little odd. Great plane to fly with no gauges! Sharpens you flying skills with nothing to go on just pure flying! 😳

Odd, very odd, did you point the loading to fs9 instead of 2002.
If you just use the two red lines of information at the top of the screen you can fly without instruments.
"Shift+Z".

Also if you toggle "W" or "S" keys you can get the standard gauges.
