I tried alot to make the stupid thing work but it says the same thing over and over again!!!!!!! Can't you get the plane back?
can Someone Help PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Give us a clue
What are you trying to do ❓
Well when i start up fs9 it says aircraft inialization failure so what do i do?
It is more than likely an aircraft that you have installed recently that isn't functioning properly. If it gives you the name of this aircraft when the error message comes up, then delete it from the Aircraft folder.
Also, have a read of this post and see if it helps:
https://forum.flyawaysimulation.com/forum/topic/2287/aircraft-initialization-failure/
Lastly, keep it all in one thread, that way, you'll get a more effective response.
Yes it tells me the name of the aircraft its the cessna skyhawk 172SP
so how do i get the aircraft back? 🙄
What have you done with it ?
Have you deleted it or modified it in anyway?
Ok now i'm explaining what had happened ok i was very excited because i had finally got the airbus 350 😀 i didn't like the 4 cessnas at all so i deleted them all and when i started FS9 the failure comes up so what did i do wrong?

Go to your recycle bin and right click the Cessna files and click Restore.
I had emptied my recycle bin so now what do i do?
i mean i had already before emptied my recycle bin
Pick them back off disc1 and replace them back into the aircraft folder
Chief can you explain a little more on how i do that please!!! 😀
Insert the Disc One into your CD Drive.
Ignore the FS window in your screen.
Go to My Computer and right click in the drive you have insert your CD.
Click Explore. You will see the CD's contents .
Copy and paste what you need.
😉
Greekman72 thank u very much but i still can't find Cessna skyhawk 172SP

It is located in the MSGAME1 Zip.File in the CD1.
Follow Greekman72's instructions and you'll find directx, extras, GAME, redist etc and then MSGAME1 and MSGAME2. You want to copy MSGAME1 and paste it somewhere else, such as Desktop, where you can extract the contents of it.
In the subfolders that it displays when you finish extracting the folders (1033, Aircraft, Autogen, Charts etc) you need to open Aircraft and copy the Cessna files and paste them back into your main FS9 Aircraft folder.

Create a folder of your choice on your desktop and extract there all the contents of the MSGAME1.Zip.
The contents of it will show you us seperate folders in the created one.
Go to the Aircraft and choose C172.
Greekman is it msgame1 or msgame1.zip? and i did as you said but no aircraft folder 😕

MZGAME1.ZIP
but there is no msgame1.zip 😕
Have you made sure that you definitely have Disk One in the drive?
If you have followed these instructions of GreekMan72's:
Insert the Disc One into your CD Drive.
Ignore the FS window in your screen.
Go to My Computer and right click in the drive you have insert your CD.
Click Explore. You will see the CD's contents .
Copy and paste what you need.
...then you should find these folders:
...which you then need to copy off the CD and paste to another location (I used desktop):
...to get inside of this folder, you need to extract its contents:
...and the Aircraft file and subsequent Cessna files should be there:
I hope that helps you - good luck! 👍
in the disc one it doesn't have the books picture it has a cabinet picture msgame1 😕
I'd wait for someone else for confirmation but I think you might need to download and install WinRAR or something similar:
WinRAR 3.60
➡ http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Like I say, I'd wait for someone to confirm or correct that.

Confirmed!(Good job Jon)
With a small difference..WinRar will show you directly the folders containing on the MSGAME1.zip.So you don't need to create a new one as you have to do if you use WinZip.
So you can click the aircraft folder and choose the C172 and extract it to FS directory in the Aircraft folder.
Getting more confused now??? 😂
Thank you very very much greekman72 and 99joleg it finally works! 👏
