Use notepad to open the CFG. change the Flightsim # after the previce. Save it and paste the texture folder in your A/C folder.

Thank you for your help, I have done everything you said and I've got the file open and pasted the correct text in inc changing the x to the next available number, but still when i load the sim up there is no repaint even with show all selected. I am using an external HD, although flight sim x is installed and works fine from this, do you think this could be causing a problem?

I have over 650 gb spare memory so I know it isn't a memory problem.

If there is nothing else I can do then at least I have a brilliant flight sim all the same.
