USB vs. serial w/USb adapter

nycnewbie Guest

Hi all,
I am under the impression that the USB versions of the CH yoke and rudder are better than the serial or gameport versions. My question is this, is the USB version of these things better than the gameport or serial version with the USB adapter plugged into the USB ports?

Thanks

We've had a few posts about problems plugging serial port items into an adapter to USB.
I guess USB is too fast for the adapter.
Try it only if you can bring the adapter back for refund.

Yes USB is much better.

The MS Precision Pro stick I use can be used either way. It came with the adapter. I have had no known problems using it on
USB. That is how I use it.

I'm not sure if just any stick would work that way.

I have CH rudder pedals (gameport) in storage as I could not get them to work through an adapter.
